Hello and welcome to day 235 of Faith for Every Day. Our focus today is something that challenges even the strongest believers, and that is waiting on God. Let us be honest. Patience is hard, especially in a world where everything is instant. Text reply, fast food, one-day delivery. We are not used to waiting. But God's timing is not built in our clock or calendar. It is built in his perfect wisdom and love. Psalms 27 verse 14 tells us to wait on the Lord. But it is not just about sitting still, it is about having courage while we wait. It is trusting that God knows what He is doing, even when we do not see it yet. Waiting is not weakness, it is actually strength under control. It is saying, God, I can try to rush this, but I trust that you are doing something better behind the scene. That kind of waiting builds faith, endurance, and spiritual maturity. Think about a seed. You plant it today, but you do not expect fruit tomorrow. You water it, wait through the seasons, and let the sun do its job. Then one day, there is growth. That is how God works in us. Just because you do not see a result right away does not mean he is not at work. Maybe you are praying for something, a breakthrough, a door to open, a relationship to heal, and it feels like nothing is happening. Do not give up. Keep trusting.
