Faith for Everyday
Faith for Everyday is a daily podcast dedicated to guiding youth through modern challenges with timeless Biblical wisdom. Each approximately 10-minute episode offers scriptural insights and practical encouragement to strengthen faith in everyday life. New episodes are released daily.
Spending time in God’s Word is essential for spiritual growth, yet many people struggle with where to start. Some feel intimidated by the Bible’s depth, while others become discouraged or overwhelmed by life’s challenges. If you’ve ever felt that way, this devotional is for you.
"Faith for Every Day" is designed as a simple yet powerful guide to help you engage with Scripture daily. You don’t have to start on January 1st—this podcast is meant to be picked up at any time of the year. Each daily devotion stands on its own, addressing real-life struggles while pointing you back to God’s truth.
Throughout this journey, we will explore topics such as anxiety, depression, rejection, and uncertainty—struggles that are all too common today. But you’re not alone. The Bible is filled with stories of people who faced similar challenges and found strength in God. By looking at their experiences, we can find encouragement, hope, and guidance for our own lives.
Whether you’re a new believer seeking direction or a seasoned Christian looking for fresh inspiration, this podcast will meet you where you are. My prayer is that as you go through these devotionals, you will be encouraged to dig deeper into God’s Word, grow in faith, and draw closer to Him daily.
Let’s embark on this journey together—one day at a time, one step closer to God.
Faith for Everyday
When doubt shouts, let Scripture speak louder
Doubt can shout. Truth can be louder. We explore a grounded, practical way to quiet the noise and rebuild confidence by returning to a single, powerful idea from Romans 10:17: faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God. Instead of treating faith like a feeling that appears on cue, we talk about faith as a response formed by what we regularly hear, speak, and remember.
We open with the very real ways doubt shows up—through news, social feeds, and our own thoughts—and then move to why Scripture functions as more than text. God’s Word is living and active, and when we fill our minds with it, our hearts start to settle. Drawing on Jesus’ response in the wilderness, “It is written,” we show how authority rests in what God has said, not in our ability to out-argue fear. That pattern becomes a template for everyday battles: when identity is questioned, when outcomes seem uncertain, when prayers feel quiet, we anchor to what’s written.
You’ll hear simple, repeatable practices that fit busy schedules: choose one verse, say it aloud, write it where you’ll see it, and return to it when anxiety spikes. We explain how letting faith lead—before feelings align—creates a new inner pace, shifting your first reaction from “What if?” to “It is written.” If you’ve been praying but feel stuck, these steps help you feed faith daily and watch confidence grow—not from who you are, but from who God is.

Overcoming doubt with the word of God. Romans chapter 10 verse 17. So then faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the word of God. Romans 10 17. Hello and welcome to day 244 of faith for every day. If you have ever wrestled with doubt, doubt in God, in yourself, and in your future, you are not alone. Doubt is a common part of the Christian walk, but it is not something we have to stay stuck in. And today's verse gives us the weapon to fight back with the word of God. Romans chapter 10, verse 17 says, So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. Faith does not just appear out of thin air, it comes by hearing. And not just hearing anything, it comes by hearing the word of God. That means if you want to grow your faith and silence your doubt, you need to feed on scripture regularly. Not just when life is hard, not just on Sunday morning, but daily. Why? Because doubt is loud. It comes through negative voices, fear-filled news, social media comparisons, and even our own inner thoughts. The only way to overcome that noise is to drown it out with truth. God's word is not just ink on paper, it is living, powerful, and sheper than any sword. When you fill your mind with the word, your faith begins to rise, your heart begins to settle, your confidence returns, not because of who you are, but because of who God is. Consider Jesus in the wilderness. When the enemy tempted him, he did not argue or panic. He simply said, It is written. And if that is how the Son of God battled temptation and doubt, how much more should we today? Maybe you are in a season where you are questioning everything. Are you praying but nothing is changing? You are believing, but your heart still feels heavy. That is where the word of God becomes your anchor. Read it, speak it, write it down, memorize it, declare it out loud. Do not wait for feelings to align. Let faith lead the way. Today, make a decision to feed your faith. Even just one verse can shift your whole mindset. The more you hear the word, the more your heart begins to believe again. And when doubt tries to speak, you will hear truth ready to silence it. Thank you very much for joining me for day 244 of faith for every day. Let God's word shape your faith, not your fears. And remember, you do not have to understand everything to trust God who is in control. Stay rooted, stay fed. Thank you very much for listening, and I will see you again tomorrow.
