Faith for Everyday
Faith for Everyday is a daily podcast dedicated to guiding youth through modern challenges with timeless Biblical wisdom. Each approximately 10-minute episode offers scriptural insights and practical encouragement to strengthen faith in everyday life. New episodes are released daily.
Spending time in God’s Word is essential for spiritual growth, yet many people struggle with where to start. Some feel intimidated by the Bible’s depth, while others become discouraged or overwhelmed by life’s challenges. If you’ve ever felt that way, this devotional is for you.
"Faith for Every Day" is designed as a simple yet powerful guide to help you engage with Scripture daily. You don’t have to start on January 1st—this podcast is meant to be picked up at any time of the year. Each daily devotion stands on its own, addressing real-life struggles while pointing you back to God’s truth.
Throughout this journey, we will explore topics such as anxiety, depression, rejection, and uncertainty—struggles that are all too common today. But you’re not alone. The Bible is filled with stories of people who faced similar challenges and found strength in God. By looking at their experiences, we can find encouragement, hope, and guidance for our own lives.
Whether you’re a new believer seeking direction or a seasoned Christian looking for fresh inspiration, this podcast will meet you where you are. My prayer is that as you go through these devotionals, you will be encouraged to dig deeper into God’s Word, grow in faith, and draw closer to Him daily.
Let’s embark on this journey together—one day at a time, one step closer to God.

Hearing The Shepherd’s Voice
The day is loud, but guidance does not have to be. We anchor in John 10:27 to explore what it actually means to hear the voice of Jesus and respond with steady, practical faith. Not a mystical club and not a vague hunch, this is a clear promise for ordinary people who want to make wise choices, carry peace into stress, and move in the right direction without second-guessing every step.
We walk through the difference between the world’s noise and the shepherd’s tone, noticing how panic pushes while Jesus gently leads. You’ll hear how God often speaks: a verse that refuses to fade, a quiet nudge to wait or go, a lyric that lands with unusual weight, or a moment of stillness that arrests your attention. We keep Scripture as the plumb line for discernment so impressions don’t drift into wishful thinking. Then we zoom in on intimacy—being called by name, known fully, and invited to trust. Hearing is not an end. It is a path to action. True listening produces following, and obedience becomes the proof that we heard.
To make this real, we offer simple practices you can try today: set aside a few minutes to cut the inputs, open your Bible and pray for a listening heart, write the one next step you sense, and test it against the Word. Over time, these small choices train your ear and quiet your doubts. If you belong to Him, you can hear Him. Let that promise reset your posture and bring clarity where confusion once ruled.
If this encourages you, follow the show, share it with a friend who needs clarity, and leave a quick review to help others find it. Your stories and takeaways shape future episodes—what practice helps you listen best?
Knowing God's voice, John ten, twenty-seven. My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. John chapter ten, verse twenty-seven. Hello and welcome to day two hundred and eighty-three of Faith for Everyday. Today we are listening in on a conversation between the shepherd and his sheep. Jesus says in John 10 27, My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. This is not poetry, this is a spiritual reality. God speaks and his people hear. In the noise of our world, there are voices pulling us in every direction. Social media, news circles, opinions, fears, temptations. But in the midst of it all, there is one that cuts through the chaos, the voice of the shepherd. And Jesus says, My sheep hear my voice, that means you can hear him. Not just pastors, not just elders, not just those with seminary degrees. If you belong to him, you can know his voice. Now, let us clear something up. God's voice is not always audible. Often, it is that quiet staring in your heart, that verse that will not leave your mind, that check in your spirit that says wait or go. Sometimes he speaks through scripture, sometimes through a song, sometimes through a moment of silence that gently arrests your attention. But make no mistake, he is speaking. The question is not if God is speaking, but are we listening? Jesus continues. There is intimacy here. He is not a stranger calling to the crowd. He is a shepherd calling each sheep by name. He knows your thoughts, he knows your history, he knows your voice, and wants you to know his. And then he says, They follow me. Hearing his voice is not just for inspiration, it is for direction. True hearing leads to following. Obedience provides the relationship. Today, take time to quiet the noise. Set aside a few moments just to listen. Open your Bible and ask the Lord to speak through it. Sit in stillness and invite his voice to arrest the noise around you and his voice to rise above the rest. If you belong to him, you can hear him. Do not second guess it. Just draw near and tune in. Thank you for joining me for day 283 of faith for every day. The voice of the Lord is not a mystery, it is a promise. His sheep hear his voice. May your ears be open and your heart be ready to follow. Until tomorrow, keep listening. Thank you very much for listening.
