Faith for Everyday is a daily podcast dedicated to guiding youth through modern challenges with timeless Biblical wisdom. Each approximately 10-minute episode offers scriptural insights and practical encouragement to strengthen faith in everyday life. New episodes are released daily.
Spending time in God’s Word is essential for spiritual growth, yet many people struggle with where to start. Some feel intimidated by the Bible’s depth, while others become discouraged or overwhelmed by life’s challenges. If you’ve ever felt that way, this devotional is for you.
"Faith for Every Day" is designed as a simple yet powerful guide to help you engage with Scripture daily. You don’t have to start on January 1st—this podcast is meant to be picked up at any time of the year. Each daily devotion stands on its own, addressing real-life struggles while pointing you back to God’s truth.
Throughout this journey, we will explore topics such as anxiety, depression, rejection, and uncertainty—struggles that are all too common today. But you’re not alone. The Bible is filled with stories of people who faced similar challenges and found strength in God. By looking at their experiences, we can find encouragement, hope, and guidance for our own lives.
Whether you’re a new believer seeking direction or a seasoned Christian looking for fresh inspiration, this podcast will meet you where you are. My prayer is that as you go through these devotionals, you will be encouraged to dig deeper into God’s Word, grow in faith, and draw closer to Him daily.
Let’s embark on this journey together—one day at a time, one step closer to God.
Faith for Everyday
Ready For The King
What if readiness for Christ’s return looked less like doomscrolling signs and more like a steady, joyful posture of surrender today? We open Matthew 24:44 and walk through what Jesus meant by “be ready,” moving beyond curiosity to concrete habits that keep our lamps burning and our hearts awake.
Together, we press into the difference between perfection and position—why a surrendered heart matters more than spotless performance—and how daily repentance clears space for living faith. We talk about the subtle pull of schedules, ambitions, and screens, naming distraction as the real threat to expectancy. You’ll hear practical ways to trade delay for obedience, rekindle prayer, and let worship become a pillar rather than a leftover. Along the way, we frame “living for eternity” as a hopeful compass for ordinary days: forgiving quickly, choosing integrity when no one is watching, and aligning priorities so that love leads and noise loses.
By the end, the return of Jesus feels less like a distant doctrine and more like a fire that purifies priorities and fuels courage. If the sky split on an ordinary afternoon, would He find us watching or wandering, worshiping or drifting? This brief devotional invites you to choose Christ today, keep faith alive, and let expectancy anchor your week. Subscribe for more daily encouragement, share this with someone who needs hope, and leave a review to help others find the message.
Preparing for Christ's return. Matthew chapter 24, verse 44. Therefore, be ye also ready, for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of Man cometh. Matthew chapter 24, verse 44. Hello, and welcome to day 287 of faith for every day. Today's devotional centers on one of the greatest truths in Scripture. Jesus is coming again. Matthew chapter 24, verse 44 says, Therefore be ye also ready, for in such an hour as ye think not, the Son of Man cometh. These are the words of Jesus Himself, reminding us that His return will be sudden, unexpected, and glorious. Throughout the Bible, God's people are urged to live with expectation, not just of what He is doing today, but of what is yet to come. We are not just living for today, we are living for eternity. We are not just building a life, we are preparing for a kingdom. Jesus says, Be ready, not just informed, not just curious, ready. That means we are to live every day as though it could be the day He returns. The danger in our generation is not denial, it is destruction. We get so caught up in schedules, ambitions, and screens that we forget to watch and pray. The Bible says He will come in such an hour as ye think not. It will be ordinary, life will happen as usual. And then suddenly the trumpet will sound and the skies will split open and the king will return. Are you ready for that moment? To be ready does not mean you are perfect, it means you are in position. It means your heart is surrendered. Your lamps are burning, your faith is alive. It means you are not living in secret sin, but walking in daily repentance. You are not delaying obedience, but following Jesus now, not later. Readiness is a lifestyle. It is choosing Christ every day. It is staying awake when others fall asleep spiritually. Today, ask yourself, if Christ came back today, right now, would he find you watching? Would he find you worshiping or wandering? Would he find you living for this world or for his kingdom? Let the return of Jesus be more than a doctrine in your head. Let it be a fire in your heart. Let it purify your priorities and fuel your faith. Thank you very much for joining me for day 287 of faith for every day. Stay watchful, stay faithful, and let every day be lived in the light of eternity. He is coming again. Let us be ready. I will see you again right here, again tomorrow, same time, same place, Lord willing, for yet another edition. Thank you very much for listening.
