Faith for Everyday
Faith for Everyday is a daily podcast dedicated to guiding youth through modern challenges with timeless Biblical wisdom. Each approximately 10-minute episode offers scriptural insights and practical encouragement to strengthen faith in everyday life. New episodes are released daily.
Spending time in God’s Word is essential for spiritual growth, yet many people struggle with where to start. Some feel intimidated by the Bible’s depth, while others become discouraged or overwhelmed by life’s challenges. If you’ve ever felt that way, this devotional is for you.
"Faith for Every Day" is designed as a simple yet powerful guide to help you engage with Scripture daily. You don’t have to start on January 1st—this podcast is meant to be picked up at any time of the year. Each daily devotion stands on its own, addressing real-life struggles while pointing you back to God’s truth.
Throughout this journey, we will explore topics such as anxiety, depression, rejection, and uncertainty—struggles that are all too common today. But you’re not alone. The Bible is filled with stories of people who faced similar challenges and found strength in God. By looking at their experiences, we can find encouragement, hope, and guidance for our own lives.
Whether you’re a new believer seeking direction or a seasoned Christian looking for fresh inspiration, this podcast will meet you where you are. My prayer is that as you go through these devotionals, you will be encouraged to dig deeper into God’s Word, grow in faith, and draw closer to Him daily.
Let’s embark on this journey together—one day at a time, one step closer to God.

Friendship With Jesus
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
What if faith felt less like a checklist and more like a friendship you look forward to every day? We lean into Jesus’ words from John 15:15—“I have called you friends”—and unpack how that single line can reshape the way we pray, read Scripture, and walk through ordinary moments with extraordinary peace. Instead of chasing spiritual performance, we explore how presence, trust, and honest conversation form the core of a real relationship with Christ.
We trace a biblical arc of friendship with God—Abraham’s trusting obedience, Moses’ face-to-face conversations, and David’s heart-level pursuit—to show that relational closeness isn’t reserved for spiritual elites. It is a lived possibility for anyone willing to show up, listen, and respond. From there, we outline four simple practices to cultivate nearness: carve out time in Jesus’ presence, read and apply the Word with a responsive heart, pray as a two-way conversation, and build trust through daily surrender. Along the way, we talk about how these habits move us beyond rituals into a life marked by guidance, peace, and a steady sense of being known.
By the end, you’ll have a practical framework to turn belief into companionship: small rhythms that stack into a faithful way of life. If you’ve felt distant, dry, or stuck in religious autopilot, this conversation offers a clear on-ramp back to closeness—no gimmicks, just honest steps toward a living Savior who calls you friend. Subscribe for more daily encouragement, share this episode with someone who needs hope, and leave a review to tell us how you’re drawing near this week.

Four Practices For Closeness
A Personal Challenge And Blessing
SPEAKER_01Developing a personal relationship with Christ. John chapter fifteen, verse fifteen. Henceforth, I call you not servants, for the servant knoweth not what his Lord doeth, but I call you friends. For all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you. John chapter 15 verse 15. Welcome to day forty-six of faith for every day. Today we are talking about developing a personal relationship with Christ. Many people see Christianity as a set of rules to follow. But at its core, it is about having a close, personal relationship with Jesus. In John chapter 15, verse 15, Jesus says, Henceforth, I call you not servants, but I have called you friends. Imagine that. Abraham was called the friend of God because of his faith and obedience. James chapter 2, verse 23. Moses spoke with God face to face as a man speaketh unto his friend. Exodus chapter 33, verse 11. David was called a man after God's own heart, because he pursued a deep relationship with the Lord. Acts chapter 13, verse 22. Jesus came so that we could move beyond religious rituals and into a real, living relationship with him. He desires to walk with us daily, not just on Sundays or in moments of crisis. But how do we cultivate this personal relationship with Christ? Spend time in his presence. Just as relationships grow through time spent together, our relationship with Jesus deepens when we spend time in prayer and worship. Read and apply his word. Studying and obeying it brings us closer to Him. Talk to Him daily. Prayer is not just about asking for things, it is about conversations, sharing your heart and listening to His voice. Trust Him fully. A strong relationship is built on trust. Surrendering your life to Christ and depending on Him deepens your connection. Proverbs chapter 3-6. A relationship with Jesus is not distant from formal. It is real, personal, and life-changing. Let me ask you, how personal is your relationship with Christ? Do you see him as a distant figure or do you walk with him daily as your Lord and friend? Today, take intentional steps to grow closer to him. Spend time in prayer. Open your heart to his word and invite him into every aspect of your life. The closer you draw to him, the more you will experience his peace, guidance, and love. Thank you very much for joining us today on day 46 of Faith for Every Day. May you experience the joy and fulfillment of walking closer with Jesus. Until next time, may the Lord bless and keep you. Thank you for listening.
