Delivered From Fear
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
Fear doesn’t usually announce itself. It slips into quiet moments, rides in on an unexpected phone call, or stands in the doorway of the unknown and dares you to imagine the worst. Day 102 of Faith for Every Day is a short, steady reset built around one bold line from Scripture: Psalm 34:4, “I sought the Lord, and he heard me and delivered me from all my fears.” Not some of them. All of them.
We talk about the different forms fear takes, from fear of failure and rejection to loneliness, loss, and the future. Sometimes it looks like anxiety, hesitation, or that quiet belief that you’re not good enough. But the truth remains: fear may feel overwhelming, yet it isn’t stronger than God. The repeated “fear not” throughout the Bible isn’t a command to pretend. It’s an invitation to remember God is with us and to let His presence bring confidence, clarity, and courage.
You’ll also get practical, faith-based steps for overcoming fear: seek the Lord first with honest prayer, stand on God’s promises and replace lies with truth, choose worship over worry, and surround yourself with people of faith who will pray with you and speak life when you feel shaky. If you’ve been craving peace that lasts longer than a moment, this is a simple place to start.
Subscribe for daily encouragement, share this with someone who needs steady hope, and leave a review so more people can find it. What fear are you ready to hand to God today?

SPEAKER_00God's help in overcoming fear. I sought the Lord and he heard me and delivered me from all my fears. Psalms 34 verse 4 Welcome to Day 102 of Faith for Every Day. Today, we are talking about something that often grips us in the quiet moment, in the unexpected phone call, or in the face of the unknown. That is fear. Psalms 34, verse 4 gives us a powerful testimony from David. He says, I sought the Lord, and he heard me and delivered me from all my fears. That is not just a nice moment, it is a promise. It tells us that when we turn to God in our fears, He listens, and more than that, He acts, He delivers. Fear wears many faces. Some fear failure, others fear rejection, loneliness, loss, or the future. Sometimes fear shows up as anxiety, hesitation, or a quiet belief that we are not good enough. But here is the truth. Fear may feel overwhelming, but it is not more powerful than God. The Bible tells us over and over again, fear not. Why? Because God is with us, and when we seek Him, like David did, He responds with confidence, clarity, and courage. Let us talk about a few ways to respond when fear creeps in. Seek the Lord first. Do not try to face fears alone. Talk to God. Tell him exactly what the trouble is. He welcomes your honesty and responds with help. Stand on his promises. Fear is often fed by lies. Replace those lies with truth from God's Word. Verses like Isaiah 41, verse 10 or 2 Timothy 1 verse 7 are great reminders of His strength and peace. Choose worship over worry. When fear tries to paralyze you, lift your voice in praise. Worship invites God's presence, and in his presence, fear has to flee. Surround yourself with people of faith. Find those who will pray with you, speak truth to you, and encourage you to keep trusting. You do not have to live in fear. It may visit, but it does not have to stay. David did not say, God, remove fear from me. He said, All my fears. That kind of deliverance from God offers not partial peace, but complete freedom when we rest in Him. And it all starts with a choice, to seek Him, not to solve everything ourselves, not to figure it all out on our own, but simply to seek, to cry out in faith, and to trust that He hears and cares. Thank you very much for joining me today on day 102 of Faith for Every Day. If fear is knocking at your door today, do what David did. Seek the Lord. He hears you, He sees you, and He is ready to bring peace to your heart. Until next time, may His perfect love cast out every fear and fill you with quiet strength. Thank you very much for listening.
