Someone around you is carrying more than you can see and your next sentence could be the thing that keeps them going. We talk about encouragement not as a personality trait, but as a daily choice to comfort and build people up, grounded in 1 Thessalonians 5:11 and the call to edify one another. “Edify” means to build up, like laying bricks that strengthen a house over time, and that picture reshapes how we think about our words, our attention, and our consistency.

We get practical with simple, repeatable ways to offer biblical encouragement and real emotional support: speak life instead of criticism, notice the small efforts people think nobody sees, and send the kind of text, note, or voicemail that helps someone take the next step. We also dig into why encouragement doesn’t require perfect answers. Sometimes the most powerful support is presence, listening, and saying, “I believe in you” or “I’m praying for you.”

We close with a reminder that encouragement is spiritual fuel. It helps us endure when we’re tired, remember truth when we forget, and stay connected in love. If you’re the one who needs encouragement today, hear this clearly: God sees you, He is with you, and He is not finished with your story. Subscribe, share this with someone who could use hope, and leave a review. Who can you build up with one message today?

Why Encouragement Matters Daily

Practical Ways To Encourage Others

Spiritual Fuel And Final Blessing

Encouraging one another. Wherefore, comfort yourself together and edify one another, even as also ye do. First Thessalonians chapter five, verse eleven. Hello and welcome to day one hundred and twenty of faith for every day. Today we are focusing on something we all need, and something we all are called to give, and that is encouragement. In 1 Thessalonians chapter 5, verse 11, it says, Wherefore, comfort yourself together and edify one another, even as also ye do. That word edify means to build up. Just like a builder strengthens a house brick by brick. We are called to build each other up with our words and actions. Let us face it, life can be heavy. People around you are facing battles you may not even know about. But a few sincere words of encouragement can lift someone's spirit and remind them they are not alone. Encouraging others does not always mean having the right answers. Sometimes it means being present, listening, or simply saying, I believe in you and I am praying for you. Those words can stick with someone for years. How then do we go about being better encouragers in our daily lives? Here are some few practical steps. Speak life. Use your words to bless, not to criticize. Say something uplifting, even if it is just a compliment or a kind observation. Notice the small things. People often feel invisible. When you acknowledge someone's effort or strength, it tells them they matter. Send a message or a note. A simple text, a card, or a voicemail can be just what someone needs to keep going. Be consistent. Encouragement is not a one-time thing. Make it part of who you are. Pray with and for others. When someone is struggling, take a moment to pray with them. Even a short prayer can mean more than a thousand empty words. Encouragement is like spiritual fuel. It keeps us going when we are tired, reminds us of truth when we forget, and connects us to each other in love. You may never know how deeply your encouragement touches someone, but trust me, God does. And he uses those moments to draw hearts closer to him. Thank you very much for joining me for day 120 of faith for every day. Let God use your words and your presence to comfort and build someone up today. And if you are the one needing encouragement right now, I want you to know God sees you, He is with you, and He is not finished with your story. Until next time, be a builder of faith and a voice of hope. Thank you very much for listening.
