Spending time in God’s Word is essential for spiritual growth, yet many people struggle with where to start. Some feel intimidated by the Bible’s depth, while others become discouraged or overwhelmed by life’s challenges. If you’ve ever felt that way, this devotional is for you.
"Faith for Every Day" is designed as a simple yet powerful guide to help you engage with Scripture daily. You don’t have to start on January 1st—this podcast is meant to be picked up at any time of the year. Each daily devotion stands on its own, addressing real-life struggles while pointing you back to God’s truth.
Throughout this journey, we will explore topics such as anxiety, depression, rejection, and uncertainty—struggles that are all too common today. But you’re not alone. The Bible is filled with stories of people who faced similar challenges and found strength in God. By looking at their experiences, we can find encouragement, hope, and guidance for our own lives.

Let’s embark on this journey together—one day at a time, one step closer to God.

Faithful Stewardship
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
What if stewardship is less about budgets and more about bravery? We open 1 Peter 4:10 and get painfully practical about what it means to be a faithful manager of what God has placed in our hands. Not someday. Not when we feel “ready.” Today. Because your time, your talent, your resources, and your life are not random possessions, they are entrusted gifts, and God’s invitation is to use them well for the good of others.
We talk through what a steward actually is, why the word still matters, and how “gift” can mean far more than a platform or a title. Teaching, encouragement, generosity, hospitality, fixing things, cooking a meal, showing up for someone who is struggling, these are real expressions of God’s grace in action. If you have ever told yourself you do not have much to offer, we push back on that thought and replace it with better questions: What has God placed in your hand? What do your abilities and opportunities say about how you can serve right now?
One image guides the whole conversation: container or channel. A container holds everything in. A channel lets it flow to others. Good stewardship is not about impressing people; it is about honoring God through steady faithfulness whether you are a parent, student, business owner, volunteer, teacher, or truck driver. If this encouraged you, subscribe, share it with a friend, and leave a review so more people can find the show.
The Call To Stewardship
SPEAKER_01Being a good steward of resources. First Peter chapter 4 verse 10. As every man had received the gift, even so minister the same one to another as good stewards of the manifold grace of God. Hello and welcome to day 137 of faith for every day.
What God Has Entrusted To You
SPEAKER_01Today we are talking about stewardship, being a faithful manager of what God has given you. In 1 Peter chapter 4, verse 10, the Bible says, As every man had received the gift, even so minister the same one to another as good stewards of the manifold grace of God. In other words, everything you have, your time, your talent, your resources, even your life is a gift from God, and He asks you to use it well, not just for yourself, but for the good of others.
What A Steward Really Means
SPEAKER_01The word steward may sound a little old-fashioned, but it simply means someone who has been entrusted with something valuable. And God has entrusted each one of us with something. Whether it is a gift for teaching, encouraging, cooking, fixing things, giving generosely, or simply being present for someone. You may not feel like you have much to offer, but God says differently.
Questions To Check Your Heart
SPEAKER_01Here are a few questions to reflect on. What has God placed in your hand? Look at your abilities, your passion, and your opportunities. How can you serve someone today? Stewardship is not just about money, it is about whatever God has given you. Are you using your gift or hiding them? Sometimes we wait until we feel quote unquote ready. But God often uses us right where we are.
Channel Vs Container Mindset
SPEAKER_01Do you see yourself as a channel or as a container? A container holds everything in. A channel lets it flow to others. Good stewardship is not just about impressing people, it is about honoring God. When you use your gift to serve others, you are not just being helpful, you are showing God's grace in action, and God takes notice. So,
