Faith for Everyday
Faith for Everyday is a daily podcast dedicated to guiding youth through modern challenges with timeless Biblical wisdom. Each approximately 10-minute episode offers scriptural insights and practical encouragement to strengthen faith in everyday life. New episodes are released daily.
Spending time in God’s Word is essential for spiritual growth, yet many people struggle with where to start. Some feel intimidated by the Bible’s depth, while others become discouraged or overwhelmed by life’s challenges. If you’ve ever felt that way, this devotional is for you.
"Faith for Every Day" is designed as a simple yet powerful guide to help you engage with Scripture daily. You don’t have to start on January 1st—this podcast is meant to be picked up at any time of the year. Each daily devotion stands on its own, addressing real-life struggles while pointing you back to God’s truth.
Throughout this journey, we will explore topics such as anxiety, depression, rejection, and uncertainty—struggles that are all too common today. But you’re not alone. The Bible is filled with stories of people who faced similar challenges and found strength in God. By looking at their experiences, we can find encouragement, hope, and guidance for our own lives.
Whether you’re a new believer seeking direction or a seasoned Christian looking for fresh inspiration, this podcast will meet you where you are. My prayer is that as you go through these devotionals, you will be encouraged to dig deeper into God’s Word, grow in faith, and draw closer to Him daily.
Let’s embark on this journey together—one day at a time, one step closer to God.

How To Act Boldly When Fear Hits
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
Fear is loud, personal, and persistent. It shows up right when you’re about to step out and whispers the same tired threats: what if you fail, what if you’re not enough, what if people don’t accept you. On Day 139 of Faith for Everyday, we slow down and hold that voice up to Scripture, using 2 Timothy 1:7 as our anchor: “For God has not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.”
We talk through what that verse means in real life, not just as a memory verse. Fear doesn’t come from God, so we don’t have to treat it like a command. We explore the three gifts God gives instead: power through the Holy Spirit to face what’s in front of you, love that steadies your identity and drives out insecurity, and a sound mind marked by clarity and peace when your thoughts want to spiral. This is practical Christian encouragement for anyone battling anxiety, doubt, or hesitation and wanting stronger faith in daily decisions.
We also look at biblical examples that make courage feel achievable. Moses feared speaking, Gideon felt unsure of himself, and Esther risked everything to do what was right, yet God met each of them with strength. Then we bring it home with a direct question: what has fear been holding you back from, sharing your faith, starting something new, forgiving someone, or taking the next step God has placed on your heart?
If you need a simple, Scripture-based reset, press play, then subscribe, share this with a friend who needs courage today, and leave a review so more people can find these daily devotionals.
Overcoming Fear And The Core Verse
SPEAKER_01Overcoming fear to act boldly. 2 Timothy chapter 1 verse 7. For God has not given us the spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. 2 Timothy chapter 1 verse 7. Welcome to day 139 of Faith for Everyday.
Fear Does Not Come From God
SPEAKER_01Today, we are talking about overcoming fear, something we all face at one point or the other. In 2 Timothy 1, verse 7, Paul writes, For God had not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of sound mind. What a powerful reminder that fear does not come from God. When you feel crippled by doubt, worry, or insecurity, that is not the voice of your Heavenly Father.
The Sneaky Ways Fear Talks
SPEAKER_01Fear can be sneaky. It shows up when you are about to step out in faith. It whispers, What if you fail? What if you are not enough? What if people do not accept you?
Power Love And A Sound Mind
SPEAKER_01But God has given you something much stronger than fear. He has given you the power of love and of a sound mind. Power. Through the Holy Spirit, you have strength to face what comes your way. Love. God's perfect love casts out fear. When you know you are deeply loved by Him, you can stand firm. A sound mind. You are not driven by panic. You have clarity, wisdom, and peace because your mind is anchored in God's truth.
Courage Means Obedience While Afraid
SPEAKER_01It is not about pretending fear does not exist. It is about choosing not to let it control your decision. Courage does not mean you are not afraid. It means you move forward in obedience anyway, trusting that God is with you.
Moses Gideon And Esther Examples
SPEAKER_01Remember Moses? He was afraid to speak. Gideon was unsure of himself. Esther risked her life to do what was right. But in every case, God was their strength, and he will be yours too.
What Fear Is Holding You Back From
SPEAKER_01So today, what has fear been holding you back from? Is it sharing your faith, starting a new project, forgiving someone, moving forward with something God placed in your heart? Ask God to remind you of who you are in Him. You are not timid, you are not weak, you are filled with the Spirit of God, and He equipped you to act boldly for His glory.
Walk In Truth And Close
SPEAKER_01Thank you very much for joining me for day 139 of faith for every day. As you go about your day, remember God did not give you fear, He gave you power, love, and a sound mind. Walk in that truth and do not let fear write the story. Until next time, be bold in the Lord. Thank you very much for listening.
