Faith for Everyday is a daily podcast dedicated to guiding youth through modern challenges with timeless Biblical wisdom. Each approximately 10-minute episode offers scriptural insights and practical encouragement to strengthen faith in everyday life. New episodes are released daily.
Spending time in God’s Word is essential for spiritual growth, yet many people struggle with where to start. Some feel intimidated by the Bible’s depth, while others become discouraged or overwhelmed by life’s challenges. If you’ve ever felt that way, this devotional is for you.
"Faith for Every Day" is designed as a simple yet powerful guide to help you engage with Scripture daily. You don’t have to start on January 1st—this podcast is meant to be picked up at any time of the year. Each daily devotion stands on its own, addressing real-life struggles while pointing you back to God’s truth.
Throughout this journey, we will explore topics such as anxiety, depression, rejection, and uncertainty—struggles that are all too common today. But you’re not alone. The Bible is filled with stories of people who faced similar challenges and found strength in God. By looking at their experiences, we can find encouragement, hope, and guidance for our own lives.
Whether you’re a new believer seeking direction or a seasoned Christian looking for fresh inspiration, this podcast will meet you where you are. My prayer is that as you go through these devotionals, you will be encouraged to dig deeper into God’s Word, grow in faith, and draw closer to Him daily.
Let’s embark on this journey together—one day at a time, one step closer to God.

Hungry For God’s Word

Your body has a built-in alarm for hunger, but what happens when your soul is the one running empty? We sit with a single line of Scripture that cuts through noise and busyness: Matthew 4:4, “Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.” If you’ve felt tired, distracted, or spiritually restless, this is a reminder that real strength and lasting satisfaction come from God’s truth, not just from keeping life comfortable.
We reflect on Jesus in the wilderness, fasting and facing temptation, and how He responds by speaking Scripture instead of chasing a shortcut. That moment reframes spiritual hunger as something sacred, a signal pointing us back to the living Word of God. We talk honestly about how easy it is to go days without opening the Bible, then wonder why our peace feels fragile and our faith feels thin. The Bible isn’t meant to be a once-in-a-while reference, it’s daily bread that shapes identity, renews the mind, and steadies the heart.
We also get practical: you can “plan meals” for your soul with a few verses a day, read slowly and received with an open heart. Over time, something beautiful happens, the more you feed on God’s Word, the more your hunger grows, and Scripture shifts from duty to delight. If you’re ready to make space for that kind of spiritual growth, press play, then share this with a friend and leave a review so more people can find Faith For Every Day.
Scripture That Starts The Theme

Physical Hunger Versus Spiritual Hunger
SPEAKER_00Hello and welcome to day 146 of faith for every day. Today we are talking about hunger. Not physical hunger, but a spiritual one. A deep hunger from something that truly satisfies. Jesus put it clearly in Matthew chapter 4, verse 4. Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. Now, think about how important food is. Most of us would not go a while, a whole day, without eating. Our bodies start to feel it. We get tired, weak, maybe even irritable. But how often do we go days or even weeks without feeding our souls? Jesus tells us that just as we need physical food, we also need spiritual food. And that food is in the Word of God.
Jesus In The Wilderness
SPEAKER_00When Jesus spoke these words, he was in the wilderness. He had been fasting for 40 days and was being tempted by the devil. Satan challenged him to turn stones into bread, but Jesus responded with scripture. He reminded us all that true life, real strength, and lasting satisfaction comes not from earthly things, but from God's truth.
The Bible As Daily Bread
SPEAKER_00So, what does it mean to hunger for God's word? It means recognizing that the Bible is not just a book, it is your daily bread, it is your source of wisdom, peace, and strength. It is where you learn who God is and how you are in Him. Just like you plan your meals each day, you can also plan time to feed your soul. It doesn't have to be an hour of study, though there is great value in deep study. But even a few verses a day, when received with open heart, can nourish your spirit.
Simple Habits To Feed Your Soul
SPEAKER_00And here is something beautiful: the more you feed on God's word, the more your hunger grows. You begin to crave his word more and more, and the opinions of others. You begin to desire his presence more than the distractions of life. You start seeing scripture not as a duty but as a delight. Let today be the day you make space for that kind of hunger. Open your Bible, read slowly, listen carefully, let God speak to your heart.
Make Space And Keep Growing
SPEAKER_00Thank you very much for joining me for day 146 of faith for every day. You do not have to live on bread alone. God's word is alive and available to you. Feed your spirit and allow his truth to satisfy the deepest part of who you are. Until next time, keep growing, keep trusting, and keep feeding your soul. Thank you very much for listening.
